Princess Yachts International is a British motor yacht manufacturer, French majority owned and based in the city of Plymouth, Devon, England. The current model line up includes a range of flybridge yachts ranging from 42 to 64 feet, motor yachts from 72 to 98 feet, M Class super yachts from 105 to 130 feet, a series of V Class sports yachts ranging from 39 to 85 feet and a 74ft S Class Sportbridge yacht. ==History== Founded in Plymouth in 1965 as Marine Projects (Plymouth) Ltd, it was bought in 1981 by South African businessman Graham J. Beck In June 2008, Beck sold a 75% stake in the business to French businessman Bernard Arnault's investment group, L Capital 2 FCPR, a division of LVMH for500 million in June 2008. The LVMH group includes over 60 international luxury brands including Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, Fendi, De Beers, Moet Chandon, Veuve Clicquot, and Krug. Other Marine interests include Superyacht builder Feadship. In 2010 Princess became the first major European boat-builder to be awarded ISO14001.
